COVID-19 A Blessing?

In this crisis of COVID-19, all the vedantin and for that matter the entire humanity has lots to learn. It's not just a virus, it's something more than that. If allowed to name it I would name it as nothing less than the brahman. I know you all would require an explanation for this and here is what I have to say.

Let's see how it's related or possibly symbolic if not exactly brahman. As we all know brahman is attribute less.

First of all, COVID-19 has been not related to any religion or any caste, as it is pervading everywhere and is omnipresent, it is within and on whatever you can see, feel and could imagine with your senses. It's everywhere and is anywhere. Well it's helpless by itself as like brahman. It requires a body-mind complex to act in this vyahvarik jagat. Everyone is either fearful about it, as it is mysterious and not easily seen. All those titikshuk amongst us would agree that nothing is to fear, actually we have to accept this as prarabdha. It is there within you and by the time you realize it is within, you are already on the way for jeevanmuktha as you would have to surrender to the doctors and finally to the ventilators, but actually as there is no cure and this brahmanroopi virus is pervading in and through all your cells, molecule and atoms, your bhakti would actually enhance its existence within you and finally you would get moksha

Okay, now for those non-vedantins let's look around. See, that this invisible very minuscule form has actually bought the entire mankind to a standstill. Economy is on standstill, infrastructure is on standstill, the borders are closed, the nation’s entire army waiting and watching it helplessly. All are almost down to their knees and begging to this force. They have self-quarantined themselves; they are all clapping for their fellow men and women who are actually in forefront fighting the battle against this miniscule but strong force.

Now the brighter side of all this is, we have only the most essential services going on. That implies lots of free time for all those families who could not get together, no Zomato or Swiggy which was so much easy, but getting us to unhealthy ways with every single order. Hopefully most home maker’s may have now started cooking at home. People now can take time out of the stressful roads as they do work from home, and for those who can't, can now happily enjoy the open and free roads. In my life time I haven't seen such a time where everyone is at home and directing time productively. Productivity here means spending quality time with family and loved ones. There is no other force which I remember that made us do this, even though bit compulsively. Not even the emergency of 1978 could do this.

Well we have lots more to learn and appreciate, we could turn our attention from oneself towards our better self, turn inwards rather than existing in that virtual, lifeless and absolutely manipulative world. This is the best time to understand our true nature and the nature around us.

Lastly, one can continue their hobbies like singing, painting, gardening or anything for that matter. Let's kindle this thought of getting over the virtual and being in the real world. For, if not now, when will this race called humanity understand, that it is the force of almighty. A small meteorite swiped the largest living beings off this planet, this is just a virus who will have its time cut out soon with quarantine, vaccine or some medicine. But in this brief time we should be united, helpful and be considerate towards other living beings.

That's the only real lessons we all can take from the COVID-19. If we can't see it as brahman, then at least let's see it as the ishwararoopa who united all the human beings irrespective of which ever country they belong to, whatsoever religion they belong to and most importantly which ever belief they come from.
